1 - INTAKE

  • Coaching begins with a 1 ˝ hour meeting to establish rapport, diagnose issues and surface blind spots.
  • Clients share:
    • Their perspective on the need for coaching
    • Results of 360 or other performance measurement (if appropriate)
    • Names of key stakeholders so that coaches can have confidential telephone conversations for feedback / information (if appropriate)

2 - CONTRACT

  • Define scope and focus of the work
  • Create written action plan with strengths, objectives, specific deliverables and next steps   
  • Define next steps

3 - COACH

  • Use videotape /  replay to analyze visual, vocal and verbal style
  • Execute the plan: Intense practical coaching with focus not only on WHAT to fix, but also on HOW to fix it
  • For future reference and reminder, participant receives THE PRESCOTT GROUP’S relevant books
  • Follow-up through personal and telephone appointments, e-mail and spontaneous brief calls
